Payment and Cancellation Policies

Deposit Policy: A minimum of 50% of total reservation amount is due at time of booking.  If you choose to pay the 50% deposit, your credit card will be automatically billed the balance due 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.  For bookings made less than 21 days prior to scheduled arrival, full payment of total reservation amount is due at time of booking.  Once payment is received, room rates are guaranteed unless modified. LEGOLAND Vacations reserves the right to cancel reservations due to lack of valid credit card and/or deposit.

Cancellation Policy for Reservations on a Promotional Rate: No cancellations, changes or refunds are allowed. If cancellation or no-show occurs then all monies are forfeited. Tickets and Extras are non-refundable, but may be used up to one year from the original reservation date.

Cancellation Policy for Reservations with Trip Protection Plan: If you have opted to purchase Trip Protection Plan, you may change or cancel your reservation up to 4 P.M. Eastern Time 5 days prior to scheduled arrival date.  Any changes to your reservation are subject to availability and new room rates may apply.  If cancellation occurs by 4 P.M. Eastern Time 5 days prior to scheduled arrival date, then full payment is refunded in the original form of payment, minus the non-refundable Trip Protection Plan fee.  If cancellation occurs after 4 P.M. Eastern Time 5 days prior to scheduled arrival date or in the event of a no-show, then all monies are forfeited. No cancellations or modifications are allowed within 5 days of arrival.  Tickets and Extras are non-refundable once issued, but may be used up to one year from the original reservation date. Due to the exceptionally high volume of refund requests, refunds may take significantly longer than usual to process.

Please note that the LEGOLAND Vacations Trip Protection Plan is not a typical travel insurance. If you are looking to insure your upcoming vacation, please contact an independent travel insurance provider.

Cancellation Policy for Guests who decline Trip Protection Plan and for Reservations made within 5 days of arrival: If you decline the Trip Protection Plan or you made your booking within 5 days of arrival, no cancellations, changes or refunds are allowed. In the event of cancellation or no-show, all monies are forfeited. Tickets and Extras are non-refundable once issued, but may be used up to one year from the original reservation date.
